On October 24, 2025, the 2nd Session of the 1st Council (Annual Meeting and Standard Review Meeting) of Sub-Technical Committee 3 (Washing Machinery) of National Standardization Technical Committee 101 on Light Industry Machinery of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC101/SC3) was held in Nantong, Jiangsu Province, China. Yang Xiaomin, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of China Light Industry Machinery Association (CLIMA), and Zhang Guohua, Secretary-General of SAC/TC101/SC3 (Washing Machinery Sub-Technical Committee), co-chaired the meeting. CLM was honored to participate in the co-organization of the meeting as a co-organizer.

This meeting comprehensively summarized the progress of the washing machinery field in 2025 and clarified the work plan and development goals for 2026. During the crucial standard review stage, the CLM group collaborated deeply with industry experts to conduct a detailed review of the implementation statistical analysis reports of seven international standards and mandatory national standards, including the “General Safety Requirements for Industrial Washing Machinery”.

Relying on the company’s over two decades of practical accumulation in the research and development and production of laundry equipment, CLM team has put forward a number of professional suggestions that are both practical and forward-looking, providing important practical support for the optimization and improvement of the standards.

In addition, the meeting presented certificates of appointment to the four newly added committee members. Louis Lu (Lu Aoxiang), General Manager of the Foreign Trade Department of CLM, was successfully elected.

CLM has always deeply integrated “standard construction and technological innovation”, regarding participation in the formulation of industry standards as the core responsibility for the development of the enterprise. In the future, we will further increase our investment in industry standardization work, actively cooperate with the sub-technical committee of Washing Machinery to promote the formulation and revision of standards, their publicity and implementation, and other work. We will lead technological breakthroughs and product upgrades with standardization, and truly inject impetus into the high-quality development of the washing machinery industry.
